Rich Messler

Rich has worked in the insurance industry since graduating from the College of New Jersey where he majored in Business. He began his insurance career working as an underwriter for both Kemper and Continental Insurance.  Rich subsequently joined State Farm where he built a successful agency over 10 years. He was then recruited by Erie Insurance and accepted a position as a Senior District Sales Manager where he worked for 19 years. Rich has spent the last 1.5 years with the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia, working as their Director of Industry Relations.

Outside of insurance Rich enjoys the outdoors, camping, surfing, occasional skydiving, and you can catch him almost every day after work over at the Youfit gym.

Rich is all about being a trusted advisor dedicated to protecting his clients financial well-being. He does this through regular policy reviews, updates as life or business needs change, and proactive communication about coverage improvements or cost-saving opportunities.
